Hormone reviews - £90

I will explain your results in context with your symptoms. I will create an individualised programme of lifestyle and supplement advice, including a treatment and optional prescription plan. This may include the use of bio-identical hormones.

Further reviews will be arranged as appropriate until we optimise your hormone balance, these may require further testing prior to appointments. Once things are stable reviews will take place at 6-12 monthly intervals.

If you have not had a review within the last 18 months, then you will need to book a new patient consultation.

Hormone tests are required when dose adjustments are made for bio-identical hormones therapy (BHRT), then annually once stable

Information about the Saliva Test
In the saliva hormone test (SHT), as the name suggests, saliva is used as sample material for the analysis. In contrast to other common methods that use blood or urine as sample material, the SHT offers decisive advantages in the field of hormones. Especially when it comes to measuring the free hormones actually available to the body.

Benefits of the Saliva Hormone Test

The procedure can be conveniently carried out at home.

The smallest applications are visible (in the picogram range). Example: After just a few minutes, a hormonal application can be detected in the saliva via the skin – but not in the blood serum. This facilitates minimal support and fine regulation. This limits the risk of permanent overdose or under-supply in the hormone area.
